Basic Smoothie Formula

1 cup liquid (juice, water, milk, etc.)
1/2 cup cottage cheese
6 oz yogurt
2 servings of fruit (fresh or frozen)
8 ice cubes

Please the ingredients into the blender in the order listed.
Blend for about 1 minute.  Enjoy!  Makes about 32 oz. 

Variations:
  • Add 1 serving of sweetener, if needed or desired.  Sweetener = sugar, brown sugar, honey, Splenda, no calorie drink mix, syrup (coffee, maple, etc.), etc.
  • Add a handful of spinach to cover the vegetable food group as well.
