DENTAL GRAFT DIARIES: Week 5 (July 8 - July 14, 2014)

Tuesday - July 8, 2014:
You know what things are getting better when other things that happen to you take priority and make you forget about the extreme or unusual or extremely unusual situation in your mouth.  I am finally more concerned with wholes in the walls, swollen knees, hair straightness, and maybe even the lack of male hotness in this ginormous city.  It's a good feeling.

Saturday - July 12, 2014:
The new gums seemed to hurt on waking. Probably just stiff from not being used all night.  Otherwise, things are looking great.  Still feeling tight.  Flossing the front four with no bleeding.  The gums seem to  be strong, although not sure if they are strong enough for the electric toothbrushing.

Monday - July 14, 214:
The top is hardening up.  Doesn't feel like a blister anymore, but more like an infection that sometimes happen with bad old gold crowns.  Overall, things are not bad.  The bottom lip was a little stiff and uncomfortable this morning, but I suspect simply from talking to no one over the weekend.  I think I just need to get used to all that situation in my mouth.  I am convinced that the tightness is for forever.  Yup, kind of like styrofoam.  Otherwise the color is a lighter pink than the surrounding gums. Still looks like a bunch of little bumps.  You can definitely tell that the tissue is foreign.
